Thrust Ball Bearing

Its consist of a shaft washer, a housing washer and a ball and cage thrust assembly. The bearings are separable so that mounting is simple as the washers and the ball and cage assembly can be mounted separately. thrust ball bearings, as their name suggests, can accommodate axial loads in one direction and thus locate a shaft.

Thrust ball bearing is separable. According to the structure and designation, this bearing type is divided as single direction and bi-direction thrust ball bearing. Neither one could take radial load.
Structure:
Thrust Ball bearing with cushion is another bearing form. Because the mounting surface of the cushion is spherical, this bearing could be self-aligned so as to minimize the influence of installation error.
